INNOVATION and DEDICATION
CALL FOR INFORMATION AND SOLUTIONS
Amidst the whirlwind associated with uncertainties, difficult social environments, and the lingering impacts of the pandemic we must ask ourselves- Do we know what innovation in education looks like?
We would like to know how your school is meeting the challenges of innovation and technology for your students, educators and school systems that your state faces. We want to highlight your state and school. Education is often very siloed- this is an opportunity for us to create a “solutions and best practices library” and repository of “innovation” to see what people are doing across our nation.
The Reaching At Promise Students Association (RAPSA) envisions a world where at- promise students thrive and reach their self-determined full potential.
RAPSA provides high-quality professional development and capacity building opportunities for administrators, teachers, counselors and practitioners that work directly with at-promise students. Our commitment is to empower and uplift those supporting at-promise students, fostering an environment where every individual can lead healthy, prosperous lives, and contribute to thriving, inclusive communities.
Future publications of the RAPSA journal will explore what we could be doing regarding innovation and technology that we aren’t? Our nation has historically been a marvel when it comes to supporting and investing in innovation, science and technology. Because of research and public and private partnerships, our nation has led every technical wave since the microchip. RAPSA understands the value of investing in and exploring how innovation and technology can support educators and school systems.
Research show that the collective work of communities, schools and public and private partnerships pursuing the same goal can lead to sustainable change. RAPSA believes that the collaborative action is central to achieving improved outcomes for At Promise students.
If you would like to submit an article for inclusion in a future RAPSA Journal and participate in showcasing challenges and solutions from your state, organization and/or school, please submit to info@rapsa.org.
