The April 17th RAPSA Webinar will be facilitated by Lisa DiGaudio, Ed.D.   Dr. DiGaudio is the Founding Principal at New Dawn Charter High School.  Lisa has published several books with Teacher’s Discovery, including “Informational Text Analysis in 10 Lessons: Life Skills Edition” and “Seminal U.S. Document Analysis in 10 Lessons.”  A classroom teacher, teacher leader, data coach, and now school leader, Lisa has served children in different settings for over twenty years, but her passion is building promise for over-aged and under-credited teens. A founding team member for both New Dawn charter applications, and a contributor to several charter applications in NYC and Arizona, Lisa has helped many schools develop their instructional programming. Lisa was also a New York Educator Voice Fellow with America Achieves in 2015 and a Policy Fellow in 2016 and 2017.

Twice a month, RAPSA will provide an online session to discuss strategies, research, and support among education, community, and workforce leaders who serve at-promise students.  We are building from our first webinar with over 400 registrants to focus in on a single topic with a colleague who is developing a best practice for addressing COVID-19 related issues impacting at-promise students.

RAPSA will be hosting an interactive webinar for leaders creating strategies for serving at-promise youth during this emergency on April 17th at 11 am PT. We will have a 60-minutes set aside to share strategies and seek answers to some of the issues that are facing at-promise students across the country. Each of the following issues will be presented by a colleague who is developing a strategy and will encourage your questions and alternative strategies. If you want to participate audibly in real time, please register below and use your device’s headphone attachment. As always, the RAPSA Webinar will be recorded and posted for later review.
