RAPSA will be hosting an interactive webinar for leaders creating strategies for serving at-promise youth during this emergency on April 3rd at 11 am PT. We will have a 60-minute time set aside to share strategies and seek answers to some of the issues that are facing at-promise students across the country. Each of the following issues will be presented by a colleague who is developing a strategy and will encourage your questions and alternative strategies. • How are you providing online group instruction and with what platform?
• Do you have curriculum that you’re converting to online or are you adopting something new?
• What’s your strategy for maintaining relationships?
• How are you ensuring that your students have meals, housing, counseling, and other wrap around services?
• How are you handling senior activities (e.g., prom, graduation, grad night, etc.)?
• What agencies have you identified to support services for online at-promise students?
• What legislative/regulatory suspensions and support has your state undertaken that are helpful?
• What more could your state do to make student service and instruction better?
• How does your Department of Labor partner continue to provide youth services?
