Dear At Promise and Alternative Accountability Community:

In a moment of extraordinary uncertainty for our Minnesota and Twin Cities communities, we are reminded of the profound challenges that many of our students and young people are facing daily. We are reaching out today to ask for your support in ensuring that High School of Recording Arts (HSRA), located in St. Paul, Minnesota, can continue its critical mission and work to educate and support students without interruption.

Recent federal enforcement actions have heightened fear and instability, creating emotional and psychological barriers that threaten to disrupt the education of our most vulnerable students. At Reaching At Promise Students Association (RAPSA), we recognize that this fear and the extraordinary circumstances amplify the need for safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environments. Now more than ever, our students require consistency, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to their well-being from the entire At-Promise and Alternative Accountability education community nationwide.

Your donation will go directly to HSRA and will support:

    • Mobile hotspots for students needing temporary independent study
    • Emergency food supplies for students and families
    • Ongoing wraparound support to maintain continuity of learning

As a longstanding RAPSA partner and Alternative Accountability community-member, HSRA has dedicated itself to transforming lives through a uniquely engaging educational model—one that meets students where they are and empowers them to channel their artistic creativity into academic achievement.

By integrating core subjects with real-world skills in music production, audio engineering, and creative enterprise, HSRA doesn’t just offer a diploma; it rebuilds confidence, fosters purpose, and prepares youth for meaningful futures. In times like these, HSRA’s role is not merely educational—it is essential, providing stability and a sense of belonging when both are in short supply.

Stand with students when they need us most. For some students, the path to school feels dangerous. Students may be focusing on fear, not on their studies. You can help change that. Your support allows students in Minnesota to learn safely from home, stay connected to her teachers, and have the nutrition to focus.
