Meet the Member: Pagee Cheung

Advisory Table Template

RAPSA is honored to welcome Pagee Cheung, a visionary leader redefining what it means to prepare students for college, career, and beyond. With nearly two decades of experience transforming education ecosystems, Pagee brings an unmatched blend of innovation, compassion, and results-driven leadership to our Education and Leadership Advisory Table.

As co-founder of MESA Charter High Schools in Brooklyn, Pagee helped create a model where academic rigor meets real-world opportunity, achieving a 94% graduation rate and launching graduates to Ivy League and elite institutions across the country. But her impact didn’t stop at high school graduation. Through Alumni Lab, Pagee and her team have supported more than 200 opportunity youth across New York City, helping them re-enroll in college or enter workforce programs designed to foster long-term career mobility and purpose.

Her work through the College Persistence Coalition is equally transformative, bridging K–12 and higher education leaders through innovative Design Labs that pilot real, actionable solutions to increase college persistence and graduation rates. By fostering direct collaboration between high schools and colleges, Pagee’s model is rebuilding postsecondary pathways that center students’ lived experiences and dismantle silos that have long hindered equity and access.

Pagee reminds us that education reform doesn’t always require grand reinvention. It starts by having the courage to connect what already exists. Her belief that “there are no shortcuts to bridging the gap between institutions” resonates deeply with RAPSA’s mission to co-create systems that see, serve, and empower all At-Promise youth.

We’re beyond inspired to have Pagee Cheung joining us at the RAPSA Education and Leadership Advisory Table, helping guide our shared vision for a future where every student can persist, thrive, and lead.

See Pagee Cheung at the 2025 RAPSA Forum, November 3–5. Her session, Alumni Lab: Pivoting From Uncertainty to Opportunity, shows how opportunity youth can transform uncertainty into confidence and meaningful career pathways.
